I have arrived in Kolhapur for the wedding of Komal and Rishaar on the 7th, 8th and 9th Dec. Long journey of 35 hours door to door from London. But worth it! The wedding venue is beautiful, an old Palace, and when I get better internet access I will post photos. In the meantime I am checking out Kolhapur with help from Komal’s relatives. I’m excited.

For those of you who have not heard of it, Twitter is the new ‘Rock n Roll’ and Ralph Photography has now signed up. Twitter is a micro blog that allows you to post text entries of up to 120 characters. It also allows weblinks in the entries which it shortens to tiny urls.

Anyone can write a song! All you need is a pencil, some paper, a few ideas and you are set. There is no major cost involved in getting started. However when it comes to creating a song that has the power to touch us it is obvious that not everyone can. It takes craft, experience, passion, talent and skill. Similarly with photography; anyone can take a photo but not everyone can use a photograph to tell a story, describe a person or define a wedding day. That is still something that that takes a special magic.
